Master Paul Hein

Master Hein has been studying Tae Kwon Do since he was 10 years old. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College where he studied engineering, education, and graduated with a degree in music. He began teaching at JK Lee’s in January of 2000 and became a full time instructor in 2006. 

Over the course of his time as an instructor with JK Lee’s, Master Hein has taught at the Brookfield, Waukesha, Germantown, and Lake Country locations. He further co-opened and instructed at the JK Lee Fox Point location. Since 2018, Master Hein has been the Head Master Instructor at the JK Lee Hales Corners location.

Master Hein has competed and judged in many state and local tournaments over the years, including the US National Hanmadang Championships 2009-2012. He has also had the opportunity to train with Law Enforcement Teachers Gary Klugiewicz and Dave Young and with UFC Striking Coach Eddie Cha.

In his free time, Master Hein enjoys spending time with his wife Katie and their two young children. He looks forward to the fast-approaching day when his own kids can take classes at the dojang. He also plays trumpet regularly at his church and serves on the school board, where he is passionate about bringing quality education to the children of Milwaukee.
